Our History

Rodney’s House has a rich story in the heart of Herne Bay.

Originally known as The Rodney’s Head, this handsome building was a much-loved local pub for generations. It served Fremlins Ales and was a true community hub.

Today, the building has been lovingly transformed into two luxury self-catering apartments. While preserving its proud heritage on the outside, the interiors have been beautifully redesigned with modern comfort and elegance — creating a calm seaside retreat just moments from the beach and pier.

We’re proud to continue the story of this historic building by offering guests a unique blend of character and contemporary luxury.
